LOOKING FORWARD
DANNY'S FUND DONATES
We're happy to announce our second donation of $25,000, given to Dr. Shakeel Modak of Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. This will go toward funding a trial of "bispecific humanized antibody," a newer form of the therapy that prolonged Danny's life considerably. We are excited about what this trial could mean for the future of neuroblastoma treatment.

Danny's classmates petitioned the Champaign City Council for an honorary street named for Danny.
We are very impressed with the impact such a young boy
has had in the community, and we hope this street sign will also honor all kids touched by cancer.
SHAVE FOR THE BRAVE
This amazing event was held at BJ Grand Salon and Spa! Our thanks to all the participants, who bravely came to donate their hair, get a haircut, or shave their head. It was very touching to see everyone committed to help raise awareness about Danny and all children touched by cancer. We raised over $7000!
A huge thank you to 9 year-old Samantha! She helped raise over $2,000 for Danny's Fund with this event! Thank you to all the swimmers who participated, and a special thanks to the YMCA Heat.
The event was very moving, with many kids and adults swimming a mile, all with a same goal: help find a cure for childhood
cancer!
STUDENT PIZZA SALE
Danny's good friend George wanted to do something meaningful on the one-year anniversary of Danny leaving us. With the help of his classmates, George raised $1500 to support his friend's cause.
We are honored to have such a wonderful community to help us in fulfilling Danny's wish to make the world a happier place for children battling cancer.
Nitin and Roselle Bhosale hosted this wonderful event to support Danny's Fund, and with the generosity of an amazing audience, we raised over $7000!
The performers were all very talented children who truly believe in the power of music to find hope.
